Toilets, bowties, gender and me | Audrey Mason-Hyde | TEDxAdelaide - YouTube

Why is it so important for us to know someone else's gender? We live in a gendered world, but for Audrey, gender is fluid at best an uncomfortable construct. With a fierce intellect and a unique sense of style, Audrey has plenty to say about our gendered world. This resource is great when teaching students about gender, and what gender means. It also helps students who are in the LGBT community feel comfortable within the classroom environment as all students are learning more about gender and the LGBT community.
