"The Cool Bean", by Jory John and Pete Oswald. This book is about a bean who doesn't think he's "cool". He talks about the "cool beans" and how they dress, act, and move, which makes him feel uncool. However, the "cool beans" end up being kind to others, and to him in particular, which changes his outlook on the "cool/popular beans" entirely. A great SEL book for students who are beginning to recognize the social differences between their themselves and their peers.
