This lesson was produced with the support of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Objectives: To further online safety education. To promote safe and responsible online behaviour through: Encouraging youth to make safe and ethical decisions online; Helping youth to identify strategies and supports that are available to assist them with issues they may encounter online. This lesson plan focuses on teaching online safety and appropriate behaviour in the digital world, tailored for students with the support of school resource officers. The resource encourages students to explore ethical online behaviour, the consequences of harmful actions, and how to stay safe in a digital environment. It covers issues such as cyberbullying, privacy, and identifying potential risks in online spaces, empowering students to understand their roles and responsibilities in a digital society.
