Ruby Bridges is the story of one of four Black children who were the first to attend desegregated schools in the US. Ruby attended the William Franz Elementary School, while the other three were sent to another school. Ruby bravely attended school every day despite the protest against desegregation and being the only Black student in the class. Today Ruby Bridges is a civil rights activist and still lives in the US.
